Maternity Session Tips . . .
- Ideally, schedule your portrait during your 7th or 8th month. Select a time of day that you feel best.
- Invite a family member or a friend to participate or assist you during the session.
- Remove tight clothing and watches two hours prior to your photo session to avoid marks on skin.
- Apply lotions to skin prior to arriving for vibrant/natural look.
- We use soft portrait lighting, a variety of simple props and backdrops.
- Maternity studio sessions are between one to two hours.
Newborn Portrait Sessions . . .
- Schedule newborn sessions in the first 2 weeks, if possible.
- Portraits should include an intimate close-up of the two of you, tiny fingers holding yours, or your hands cradling little feet.
- Many simple little hats, blankets, accessories & other props for newborn baby portraits are available.
